What is Floor-Barre™?
Floor-Barre is a serie of movements done lying on the floor.
It will correct the body alignment and release tension throughout the body.
It strengthens the muscles and joints, rehabilitate and prevent Injuries
For dancers;
Floor-Barre prepares the body you for the standing and supports your dance technique.
You develop an awareness of your own turnout and ability, and through respecting that, improvement comes quickly.
The technique is gentle yet very effective. This is a step in body improvement training and technique refinement.
Floor-Barre™ combines ballet with anatomical principles of alignment and kinetic usage. Utilizing the floor, without the pressure of gravity, Floor-Barre™ strengthens and properly corrects the placement of the pelvis, hips and back, your mind and body are concentrated and engaged to work together.
You will do simple yet stregthening movements, while lying on the floor, with careful guidance and precise instruction.
